Enchanted Makeovers – MN Chapter

Modern B*a*g Ladies is the Minnesota Chapter of Enchanted Makeovers.

What?

Not long ago, women and children were rare at rescue missions and homeless shelters. The harsh reality is that today, they are more common than ever. Millions of women, mothers, teens and children now call one of the 3,500 shelters in the United States “home”.  Enchanted Makeovers mission is to transform the environments of shelters into places that inspire behavioral and psychological change and are supportive to those re-building their lives.

Enchanted Makeovers is a 501 (c) 3 award winning national non-profit organization. All monetary and in-kind donations are tax-deductible under current IRS regulations.

Enchanted Makeovers, is embodied by the work and spirit of Terry Grahl, Chief Executive Officer and Visionary. Terry aspires not so much to do something as to be something. It’s not a series of “decorating” projects; it is a movement to transform not only the lives of women, mother’s, teens and children who are rebuilding their lives in homeless shelters but also to transform those who participate in the giving. This represents a profound shift in the traditional view of philanthropy and the communication of it is the essence of the Enchanted Makeovers brand.

Who?

Enchanted Makeovers operates solely by the support of volunteers.  Pictured below are just a few. It takes a village!

I, Kim Lampe, head up the Minnesota Chapter of Enchanted Makeovers.  I support Enchanted Makeovers sewing projects for the state of Minnesota, by answering your questions, inspiring communities to sew, and collecting and delivering handmade pillowcases, capes and dolls to shelters for women, mothers, teens and children in Minnesota.
