Special Messages from Your Traveling Sanctuary Sisters....

Sister #1 -  I met Tricia in 1999 and was able to spend about 5 years worth of time with her in less than 2. She helped me to look beneath my layers without fear but with enthusiasm. Curious of self love! This book was a good bye and I have passed it on too.

Sister #3 -  Life is life. It is not a party. We have to choose to make it fun, put a smile out there, be giving. It is our choice to make life a party I chose this book (Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff for Women) because it has helped me so much. I don’t worry about the dishes so much. I still have work to do on this, but it is better. Remember it is your choice. I hope this helps you as much as it has me… and even more!!

Sister #6 - I wish you well, joy and happiness.

Sister #7 -   Quote – “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”  Mahatma Gandhi  There are many times in life when you try to better yourself or others and people just don’t get it.  Read this quote and never lose sight of what can be accomplished.

Sister #8 -  The Martha Rules, 10 essentials for achieving success as you start, build, or manage a business.  This gift helped me to realize my business and reinforce my beliefs. It reinforced my values. You can do anything!!

Sister #9 -  Quote – To accomplish great things we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also believe. – Anatole France

I had a Big Idea! I wanted to help women connect and seek out their passions. This concept became to be known as Soulspring (because our passions run deep). With the support of friends and even strangers, my BIG idea is becoming a reality. It inspires me to hear how other women have been affected by the process. Their notes and testimonials keep me going. If I can do this then you can realize your dreams too. Just go for it!

Sister # 10 -  Meditations for Women who Do Too Much – Anne Wilson Schaef
The item I place in this traveling sanctuary is worn and tattered indeed. I feel all books should look like this (good ones at least). This book provided much perspective in small daily bites. As I search for direction and meaning I find that I need frequent boosts. Please accept this fuel inside this TS in the spirit of a searching lady, who isn’t suppose to have all the answers or detailed itinerary. Each ear marked page represents a glimpse into a few steps forward. Believe in the beauty of your dreams and faith to step into the darkness at times. You will find your light and you are the light.

Sister #11 -   I’ve always been awed, calmed or inspired by the beauty around me but it’s only been since the Christmas of 2006 that I’ve tried to convey that wonder through painting. My husband, seeing how stress from my job was beginning to take its toll had the idea to surprise me with a beginners painting CD, paints, and a few brushes. With that and a lot of encouragement I took on this new hobby. As usual, his intuition was right and I’ve since found this activity to bring me tremendous joy. Occasionally I paint from imagination but most often I take my inspiration from photographs. It’s sometimes an irresistible challenge to interpret in oil what I see or feel from a photo or a life experience. I can entirely forget myself. It’s very much like becoming totally absorbed in a compelling story. So my BAG message would be to stay open to try new things, no matter your age it might surprise you to discover a hidden talent or skill that brings you joy that you may have never otherwise found.

Sister #13 -  The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears. The figure she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes. Because that is the doorway to her heart. The place where love resides. The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is in the caring that she lovingly gives. The passion that she shows. They beauty that she shows. They beauty of a woman with time only grows.

Sister #14 -  I was terribly shy as a child, almost to the point of being debilitating. As I grew older I forced myself to come out of my shell. My family was my refuge and I kept a few close friends. I used my shyness as an excuse for not extending myself to others, but recently have made an effort to be a better friend. As I began to extend more attention and caring to my lady friends I received back 10 fold. I’ve been known to be a little goofy and one day I sent my friend an email reminding her to sing her song and bang her head. They very next day, I received the most hilarious singing voice mail. We continue to exchange singing voice mails, which make both of us smile and laugh. She and I have this whole musical, special relationship and we can always make each other laugh. One day I received the enclosed article.

I made a conscious effort to be a better friend. I had the courage to be vulnerable enough to be myself. I have a mutually giving life long friendship. We have trust. Be a friend. Have a friend. Smile. Laugh. Be Goofy.
Sister #15 -  I have times in my life that it feels like my life is living me. It isn’t until I stop, that I find clarity. I can literally wear myself out until I just can’t go anymore. One way for me to remember to take care of myself is by refueling by drinking more water. I stop to refill it and take a minute to remember that my glass is more than ½ full. I hope that it will refuel you.

Sister #16 - If only the whole world would live like today was their last day on earth. Everyone would have hearts overflowing with love. Would we not have a perfect world and a touch of heaven on earth.

Sister #17 -  We are all “love”.  Everyday close your eyes and give yourself a really big “hug”.  You deserve to experience Bliss.
