It has truly been an honor sharing a small part of Tricia’s story. She was gracious enough to be Modern B*a*g Ladies’ first Travel Guide Feature. This is the final installment of her three part story.
Empowers Women to Share Their Story
Tricia empowers women to share their stories when she shares a very personal part of her past. Read PART ONE of her story, Burying Myself and Finding Myself Again – Fat Suit. Tricia has struggled with knowing when or if she should share this part of her life with her 15 year old daughter. It had such a profound effect on her life, but she didn’t know what purpose it would serve to share.
Visions ~ Actions ~ The World Says OH YES to Tricia
Tricia finds passion in making inspirational collages. Vision Art Designs was born after being laid off from a long career as a dispatcher. In Part two of her story, Tricia shares her beliefs. It is a driving force behind following her passions. She’s taking action. She is spreading joy, shredding fear and having fun.
What We Can Learn
Tricia teaches us about being radically positive. She teaches us about the benefits of committed to loving yourself and caring for your body by maintaining your Traveling Sanctuary vessel. Readers are leaders. Awareness opens your mind and heart to possibilities. Tricia shares how she listens to her inner voice when she walks into her previous place of employment to discuss, with her former boss, returning. Listen and walk through your fear. You will find new found confidence.
Not Her Shame – For the Love of Her Daughter and All Women
Tricia found the right words to share her experience of childhood sexual abuse with her daughter. By sharing her story she let’s her daughter know that it was not her shame to carry. “Secrets equal shame.” Her daughter is witnessing her mother survive and thrive. She now has an understanding of her mother’s pure strength and how she is using a bad experience to help others. This will certainly have a huge impact on her daughter.
