Q: What do I need to do to become a Modern B*a*g Lady Travel Guide?

  • Become familiar with Modern B*a*g Ladies philosophies and mission.
  • Complete Travel Guide Questions
  • MBL will write your story
  • MBL collaborates with you to create a 5 – 10 item scavenger hunt to challenge others to Discover Their B*a*g. (optional)
  • MBL collaborates with you to create a visual display of your story to be placed on a canvas Traveling Sanctuary Tote B*a*g.  (Optional)
  • Consider how you can share your passion, talents and services with other women.  (Optional)

Q: How do you write my story?

  • I use the answers from a questionnaire to write the first draft.  I use material from your company mission and website content if applicable.  The story is not published without your approval.

Q: How do I create my scavenger hunt challenge list?

  • Consider the level of difficult and time frame to accomplish each challenge, what tasks did you do that allowed you to Discover Your B*a*g and your artwork as a guide to your challenges.  The Traveler must be able to prove they have accomplished the challenge via a written response and/or video.  The challenges are intended to allow the traveler to Discover Their B*a*g and become a MBL Travel Guide.

Q:  How are the Discover Your Bag Travel Guides Promoted?

  • Travel Guides stories along with their sponsors (if applicable) are featured in MBL Travel Guide features.  Facebook and Twitter posts follow the feature with each scavenger hunt challenge.   Press releases are distributed. Travel Guides are encouraged to promote through their networks and display MBL Travel Guide badge on their website etc.

Q:  Where do the tote bag sale proceeds go? (optional)

  • $5.00 of each tote bag sales, is donated to Enchanted Makeovers. You can also suggest a non-profit of your choice that supports the empowerment of women.

Q:  Can I sell my tote bag on my website, blog or Facebook page? (optional)

  • Yes.  We provide a badge to display on your website that links to the MBL Travel Guide Café Press store.

Q:  Who owns the rights to the artwork created for the tote bag, if created? (optional)

  • You own the rights and you grant MBL permission to use the artwork solely for the purpose of tote bag sales, unless other agreements have been arranged.

Q:  How do we create the artwork, if created? (optional)

  • Any art that can be made into a JPEG file.  The possibilities are endless – pictures, graphics, collage of items (think “I Spy”).  You are the artist. Share your (H)(E)eart.   The approximate size of the artwork is 10” x 10”.
